Creation of driveway and house paths.
This object has its own historical message. This story will be about one of the clients, who was created a driveway from cobblestones which can be used by both cars and lorries, our task was to provide such material which can withstand heavy loads. First, the pavement of the driveway was prepared so that the stones could be laid. Stones with a side length of 15-50 cm were delivered, while the thickness of the stone materials was from 12-20 cm. The construction of the intrusive road took some time and knowledge, until the entire road to the street was paved. Each stone was carefully selected and laid accordingly in the correct places at the customer’s request, along with the foundations of the house and a 1m wide path around the entire building. Especially broken stones, to the thickness of which did not exceed 8cm, were made for the foundations of the house. The main idea of all this was that in the process of masonry, the plinth of the house, in the end does not reach a large deviation from the wall. It took a year and a half to create and complete this project. As a result, the stone driveway blended well with the home design. Using Latvian stones in the build, a unique combination of shades of stone materials was obtained. Also in this object, each stone was cut to shape with special stone tools.
